Role: Hardware Engineer
Exp:8-10 years
Experience to 8 to 10 yrs in embedded hardware domain from Bangalore location.
- Good analog and digital design skills
- Knowledge on schemtics, sumiltion, design analysis and testing
- Good knowledge on product development lifecycle
- Schematic, layout tools knowledge
- Perform redesigns of current production products with component shortage or obsolescence issues.
- Provide technical expertise for component related issues including alternate component selection for obsolescence issues and assisting on process issues.
- Provide technical reports and communications to global team members.
- Able to work, rework perform test on PCBA and components considering value engineering.
- Need to be familiar with the PCBA components and the market commodities of the materials to identify the standards parts and whether the materials are suitable or not
- Cost down for materials
- Ability to troubleshoot failed units as needed and provide written technical reports and analyses.
- Train, advise, review, problem-solve, and collaborate with 3rd party development partners
- Work with Watlow engineering team members on product definition, development, test, QA, deployment, maintenance & support
- Analyze designs and support Design FMEA creation and revisions.
- Create test plans and test reports.
