Role Description The Hardware Engineer will work on-site in Bengaluru in a full-time capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize consumer electronics hardware. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and reviewing circuit designs, selecting components, developing schematics, and supporting PCB layout and hardware prototyping. The role involves testing and validating hardware performance, troubleshooting issues, and iterating designs to meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The Hardware Engineer will work closely with product, firmware, and industrial design teams to ensure seamless integration and a consistent user experience. Additional tasks include preparing technical documentation, supporting manufacturing handoff, and contributing to continuous improvement of hardware design processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Hardware Development and Electronics Hardware Design for consumer electronic products.
  • Proficiency in Circuit Design, including schematic capture and basic PCB layout understanding.
  • Solid knowledge of Computer Hardware and general Hardware architectures relevant to gaming and creator devices.
  • Solid knowledge of firmware engineering and around AI tools for the same
  • Experience with hardware test, validation, and debugging tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters).
  • Familiarity with industry standards, safety and compliance requirements for electronic devices.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, collaborate in a multidisciplinary team, and communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in consumer electronics, gaming peripherals, or creator-focused hardware products is a plus.
