Job Description

3-8 Experience – Location – Bangalore/Coimbatore

Role Summary

Responsible for executing Automotive EMC testing, maintaining test setups, validating test equipment, preparing reports, and supporting EMC compliance activities in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025, automotive EMC standards, and OEM requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·Prepare and maintain EMC test setups (ALSE, BCI, TPAV, ESD).

·Perform conducted/radiated emission and immunity testing.

·Execute tests as per EMC standards, OEM specifications, and test plans.

·Generate test reports and test result documentation.

·Troubleshoot EMC test setup and measurement issues.

·Verify calibration certificates and perform intermediate instrument checks.

·Maintain DUTs, instruments, accessories, and laboratory equipment.

·Support EMC Project Responsible (EMC PR) in report completion and test activities.

·Work in rotational shifts (Morning/Night/Late Night) as required.

Required Skills

·Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory processes.

·Hands-on experience in Automotive EMC Testing.

·Understanding of EMC Regulatory Requirements and OEM specifications.

·Ability to interpret EMC standards and customer requirements.

·EMC test issue analysis and resolution.

·Knowledge of Passive & Active Components (RF, Analog, Digital).

·Basic soldering skills.

·Familiarity with automotive communication protocols:

·CAN

·LIN

·FlexRay

Preferred Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline.
