Hardware Engineer

Basic Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in electrical control development for automated equipment (adjustable based on seniority level).
• Solid understanding of basic electrical theory, circuit analysis, and motor control principles.

Professional Skills

• PLC Programming: Proficient in at least one major PLC system (e.g., Mitsubishi FX/Q series, Keyence KV series BECKHOFF series ).
• Electrical CAD: Proficient in using EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software for electrical design.
• HMI: Experience in HMI development, capable of independently designing screens and configuring communication.
• Communication Protocols: Familiar with industrial fieldbus protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, EtherCAT, etc.) and serial communication.
• Drive Control: Knowledge of parameter adjustment and control methods for Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), servo drives, and stepper motors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with machine vision integration (e.g., Halcon, OpenCV, smart cameras).
• Familiarity with high-level languages (e.g., C#, Python) for Host computer) development or data interfacing.
• Knowledge of robot control (e.g., Epson, Yaskawa, Fanuc, Universal Robots).
• Experience with motion control cards (e.g., Googol Tech, Leadshine, Trio) or EtherCAT-based control systems.
• Experience with large-scale production line integration or project management is a plus.
