As a Mechanical Engineer with 3-5 years of experience, you will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of pump system or components. You'll utilize your engineering expertise to solve complex problems, conduct analyses, and ensure the efficient functioning of pump systems within various projects. Proficiency in strength of materials, GD&T, machine design, 2D & 3D modeling and tolerance analysis is essential for this role.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop pump systems or components. Apply knowledge of engineering principles and CAD software to create detailed designs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of mechanical principles and systems.
Perform machine design calculations and apply engineering principles to optimize pump performance and reliability
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, providing innovative solutions to improve performance or resolve problems.
Create prototypes, conduct testing, and analyze results to validate designs and identify improvements.
Apply expertise in strength of materials to ensure the mechanical integrity of pump components.
Utilize GD&T principles to create accurate engineering drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
Develop detailed 2D & 3D models using CAD software for pump components and assemblies.
Perform tolerance analysis to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability of pump parts.
Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) to simulate and evaluate pump designs for structural integrity, stress analysis, and performance optimization.
Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and installation phases.
Prepare detailed technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and advancements in the field to suggest and implement process improvements.
Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
