Role Objective
Design, development, prototyping and testing of electronic products and systems like PA, PIS, HMI, Train management system for Metro, EMU, MEMU, Vande Bharat, Failure analysis.
Principal Accountability
- Design, development, prototyping and testing of electronic products and systems like PA/PIS, SMPS, HMI, Firmware, Train communications
- Create eco-partnership for type testing and field trials with cross functional teams
- Understand the existing product technology and bring up enhancements and upgrading them to new international standards
- Effective management of configuration management process
- Manage and guide the team to align to group, department and organization's short term and long-term goals
- Developing a succession plan for team members and market scenario
Essential Requirements for Fitment
- Experience in design and development of high end / efficient electronics products (PA, PIS, HMI, Train management system for Metro, EMU, MEMU, Vande Bharat and Indian railways) with latest intelligence built into the system
- Exposure to modeling and simulation of electronic circuits and systems
- Hands on experience on implementation of PA/PIS systems in Trains
Key Skills
Digital & Analog Electronics, SMPS, power supply, PA/PIS, HMI/ industrial electronics, design, electronic circuits, electronic systems, MATLAB, Simulation, LED/LCD displays, Communications- CAN, RS485, RS232, TCN, MODBus, MVB, Ethernet, Understanding of firmware.
