Role Description

As a Hardware Design Engineer Intern, you will work on the electronic design of ProxVision smart glasses. This includes designing circuits, selecting components, supporting PCB development, and assisting in hardware integration of modules such as camera, audio systems, and sensors.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist in circuit design and schematic development
• Support PCB design and component selection
• Work on integration of Camera modules, Microphones, speakers, Touch sensor
• Help in hardware debugging and testing
• Assist in power management and battery design considerations
• Document designs, components, and testing results

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Hardware Development and Hardware Design
• Working knowledge of ESP32 boards
• Knowledge in schematics and firmware bring-up.
• Knowledge in Circuit Design
• Knowledge of Hardware Architecture and design optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively in a remote and collaborative environment
• Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Prior experience or projects in designing hardware for assistive technologies is a plus
