Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hardware Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in hardware design, development, and testing, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience. You will play a critical role in designing hardware systems and ensuring they meet performance, reliability, and scalability standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test hardware components and systems, including circuit boards, microprocessors, and embedded systems.
- Create detailed schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical recommendations for hardware designs.
- Perform hardware debugging, testing, and validation to meet performance and quality standards.
- Optimize designs for power efficiency, thermal management, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Manage design documentation, BOMs, and version control throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support manufacturing and production processes, including working with suppliers and vendors for component selection and procurement.
- Address field and production issues with a problem-solving mindset.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in hardware design and development.
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, Cadence, or OrCAD).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and FPGA development.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, EMI/EMC standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Familiarity with hardware testing equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers).
- Experience with low-power and high-speed design techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IoT, wireless communication protocols (e.g., BLE, Wi-Fi), and sensor integration.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for test automation.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, DFM (Design for Manufacturing), and DFT (Design for Testability).
