About The Role
We are looking for experienced hardware engineers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with frontier lab researchers to develop high-quality RTL design and verification challenges that accurately mirror real-world semiconductor development scenarios. Your work will involve creating realistic problems that test and enhance AI agents capabilities in hardware design workflows. This position offers the flexibility of remote or hybrid work arrangements, with adaptable hours to suit your lifestyle. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hardware design, verification, and a keen interest in applying AI/ML techniques to hardware engineering challenges.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in RTL design, with proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL. A strong understanding of verification methodologies such as UVM, along with experience in developing testbenches, is essential. Familiarity with industry-standard synthesis, timing analysis, and debugging tools is required. Candidates should also have hands-on experience with leading EDA tools from Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics. A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment are highly valued. A genuine curiosity about AI and machine learning applications in hardware design is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine realistic RTL design and verification problems that reflect industry complexity and adhere to best practices.
- Build, configure, and optimize containerized environments to facilitate agent training tasks within hardware design workflows.
- Collaborate directly with frontier lab AI researchers to understand the capabilities and training requirements of AI agents, ensuring the challenges are aligned with research objectives.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of training environments and verification methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of AI training processes.
- Document design challenges, verification procedures, and environment configurations clearly for cross-functional teams and future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in hardware design, verification, and AI integration.
