About the Role

We are looking for a rare combination: a hands-on Solutions Architect who writes production-quality code every day and can walk into a client room, lead a discovery session, price an engagement, and draft a Statement of Work before the day is out. This is not a slide-deck architect role. You will own the technical direction of complex, AI-powered consulting engagements from initial scoping through delivery, working closely with US and EU clients as an embedded technical leader.

You will anchor your work on a modern Angular / Node.js / NestJS stack, deploy everything on AWS, and build next-generation Agentic AI platforms using LangChain, LLM orchestration, and RAG architectures. Key Responsibilities

Technical Architecture & Engineering

• Design and implement scalable, production-grade solutions on an Angular / Node.js / NestJS stack, serving as the primary technical decision-maker on all active engagements.
• Write and review hands-on code regularly this is a coding architect role; architecture without implementation ownership is not sufficient.
• Build and optimize Agentic AI systems including LangChain tool-based agents, RAG pipelines, LLM orchestration layers, and real-time streaming APIs.
• Design and manage AWS infrastructure including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS/SNS, ECS/Fargate, and related services.
• Use Prisma as the primary ORM for database schema design, migrations, and query optimization across PostgreSQL and other relational data stores.
• Establish and enforce engineering standards, code review practices, and architectural decision records (ADRs) across delivery teams.

Client Engagement & Pre-Sales

• Lead client discovery sessions, requirements workshops, and solution design conversations with confidence and clarity.
• Translate complex technical concepts into language that resonates with non-technical business stakeholders.
• Author and present Statements of Work (SOWs), including scope definition, effort estimation, resource planning, and commercial pricing for consulting engagements.
• Partner with sales and account management teams during the pre-sales cycle to shape technically credible proposals and demonstrate delivery capability.
• Build trusted long-term relationships with client stakeholders, acting as a go-to technical advisor beyond the immediate engagement.

Delivery & Agile Leadership

• Drive Agile delivery across engagements using Scrum or SAFe frameworks, serving as a technical anchor for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Maintain Jira projects with well-structured epics, stories, and tasks that reflect real delivery progress and are accessible to both technical teams and client stakeholders.
• Use Confluence to document architecture decisions, runbooks, onboarding guides, and project wikis to a professional standard.
• Proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks, communicating scope, timeline, and quality trade-offs clearly and early.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and career development support.

Agentic AI Must-Have

• Proven, hands-on experience building Agentic AI systems in production not just prototypes or internal tools.
• Deep familiarity with LangChain, including tool-based agent architectures, memory management, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration.
• Experience implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines with vector databases such as pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate.
• Understanding of LLM evaluation, cost optimization, and response quality tuning in a production environment.
• Familiarity with OpenAI GPT models, Anthropic Claude, or other frontier LLMs via API.

Consulting & Business Skills Must-Have

• Demonstrated ability to write Statements of Work (SOWs) for consulting engagements, including effort estimation, resource planning, and commercial pricing.
• Strong client-facing communication skills in English written and verbal with the ability to lead meetings, present technical proposals, and build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Experience in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment where you have managed client expectations and owned delivery outcomes.

• Healthcare domain experience, particularly with claims, eligibility, or Medicare/Medicaid data.
• Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and experience delivering compliant web applications.
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Associate or Professional preferred).
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK for infrastructure-as-code.

Work Schedule & Location

India-Based Remote Position

This role is based in India and operates on the EU shift to ensure meaningful overlap with both European and US-based clients and delivery teams. The required working hours are approximately 2:00 PM 11:00 PM IST (Monday through Friday)

Candidates must be comfortable and committed to working these hours on an ongoing basis. Occasional early-morning or evening calls with US-based stakeholders may be required. Flexibility and reliability during core EU hours are non-negotiable for this role.
