About The Opportunity

Hiring for a clinical role in the Healthcare sector Secondary/Tertiary Care Hospital operations in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. We are seeking an on-site medical professional to deliver inpatient, outpatient and labour-room care within a busy obstetrics & gynaecology service, ensuring high standards of clinical safety and patient experience.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day clinical care in OPD, IPD and labour room for obstetric and gynaecological patients, including antenatal and postnatal follow-up.
  • Manage labour and deliveries: conduct normal vaginal deliveries and assist senior surgeons during Caesarean sections and gynaecological procedures.
  • Recognise and stabilise obstetric emergencies (e.g., PPH, eclampsia, obstructed labour) and coordinate timely escalation or referral.
  • Perform routine obstetric procedures and immediate newborn care, including neonatal resuscitation when required.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation, discharge summaries, referral notes and handovers; ensure adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, anaesthesia, and allied departments to optimise patient throughput and continuity of care during shifts.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • MBBS degree with valid practice eligibility
  • Prior RMO/house officer experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or labour-room duties
  • Proven competence in conducting normal deliveries and managing intrapartum care
  • Hands-on experience in managing obstetric emergencies and postpartum haemorrhage
  • BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
  • Strong documentation, triage and shift-handover practices

Preferred

  • Experience assisting in Caesarean sections and gynaecologic surgeries
  • Ultrasound skills for obstetric scans (basic fetal assessment)
  • ACLS certification or postgraduate training/diploma in OBG
