Healthcare Clinical Services in Women's Health, Maternity Care and Hospital/Clinic-based Obstetrics & Gynaecology. We provide end-to-end maternal and gynaecologic care including antenatal clinics, delivery services, operative gynaecology and outpatient specialty clinics in Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh.
Position: Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (On-site, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh)
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care including assessment, labour management and operative deliveries (LSCS) with high standards of clinical safety.
- Manage high-risk pregnancies and coordinate multidisciplinary care, referrals and follow-up plans to optimise maternal and neonatal outcomes.
- Perform gynaecologic procedures and surgeries (open, laparoscopic and hysteroscopic where applicable) and manage outpatient minor procedures and clinic consultations.
- Provide emergency obstetric coverage and lead acute-response management for complications such as hemorrhage, pre-eclampsia/eclampsia and sepsis.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ensure compliance with clinical protocols, infection control and hospital quality standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior doctors, nurses and paramedical staff; participate in patient counselling (family planning, infertility evaluation) and community outreach as required.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MS or DGO in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (or equivalent postgraduate qualification)
- Registered with National Medical Commission (NMC) or relevant State Medical Council
- Proven clinical experience in obstetrics and gynaecology with hands-on exposure to LSCS, normal deliveries and emergency obstetric management
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain immediately on joining)
- Strong documentation practice and familiarity with hospital clinical protocols and quality/audit processes
- Ability to work full-time on-site with rotational on-call duties
Preferred
- Experience with laparoscopic gynaecologic surgery
- Training or certification in advanced fetal monitoring and neonatal resuscitation
- Experience in sub-specialty services such as infertility evaluation, colposcopy or minimal access surgery
