Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • MDG Technical Development :
  • Perform hands-on development in SAP MDG across multiple data domains
  • Configure and extend MDG data models including :
  • Entity types
  • Attributes
  • UI configurations
  • Change request types
  • Develop custom enhancements using ABAP within MDG framework
  • Workflow & Business Rules Configuration :
  • Design and implement complex approval workflows
  • Configure and enhance business validations and derivations using BRF+
  • Implement rule-based governance logic aligned with business policies
  • Optimize workflow performance and ensure smooth approval cycles
  • Governance Framework Implementation :
  • Define and implement governance rules and data quality controls
  • Configure change request processes and approval hierarchies
  • Support audit compliance and traceability requirements
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise data governance standards
  • Integration & Data Replication :
  • Work on integration between MDG and core SAP modules
  • Configure Data Replication Framework (DRF) where applicable
  • Support inbound and outbound interfaces
  • Collaborate with technical teams for API/IDoc integrations
  • Implementation & Support :
  • Participate in full lifecycle MDG implementations
  • Support system testing (Unit, SIT, UAT)
  • Prepare technical documentation and functional specifications
  • Provide post-go-live support and performance optimization

Technical Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in SAP MDG Technical.
  • ABAP, BRF+, and Workflow expertise.
  • Strong understanding of master data governance concepts.
