Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to design, implement, and support SAP Global Trade Services solutions that enable compliant and efficient cross-border trade operations.
The role involves tight integration with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA landscapes and collaboration with logistics, compliance, and business stakeholders in regulated global environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP GTS solutions across core functional areas
- Lead process workshops and gather business requirements
- Design and document :
- Functional specifications
- Process flows
- Test scenarios
- Cutover plans
- Integrate SAP GTS with :
- SAP ECC or S/4HANA SD, MM, LE, TM, and EWM modules
- Configure document transfer and manage integration touchpoints (IDocs/RFCs awareness required)
- Support compliance processes such as :
- Sanctioned Party Screening
- License Management
- Customs processing
- Preference and origin management
- Collaborate with developers and integration teams for technical delivery
- Support implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on SAP GTS configuration experience in at least two of :
- Compliance Management
- Customs Management
- Preference Management
- Risk Management
- Solid understanding of international trade processes :
- Import/export flows
- Incoterms
- Customs regimes
- Trade compliance regulations
- Sanctioned party screening
- Licenses and origin/preference rules
- Practical experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
- Experience in at least one full lifecycle GTS implementation or major rollout
- Strong documentation and functional design capabilities
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders
Good-to-Have
- Experience working in regulated industries such as pharma, chemicals, high-tech, industrial, or consumer sectors
- Exposure to global template programs
- Knowledge of trade automation tools and compliance frameworks
