Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Developer to design, configure, and support BillingCenter solutions for P&C insurance applications. The role involves hands‐on configuration, enhancements, and support across billing workflows while collaborating with business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize Guidewire BillingCenter functionality based on business requirements
- Develop and enhance Billing rules, workflows, UI screens, plans, and charges
- Implement changes using Gosu scripting and BillingCenter configuration tools
- Customize BillingCenter entities, typelists, PCF files, and business rules
- Work on billing workflows such as invoicing, payments, delinquency, collections, and refunds
- Perform unit testing, defect fixing, and support SIT/UAT cycles
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and Integration teams
- Follow Guidewire configuration best practices and performance standards
- Support production issues, investigation, and root‐cause analysis
- Participate in application upgrades and version migrations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of overall IT experience
- 3+ years of hands‐on Guidewire BillingCenter configuration experience
- Strong knowledge of Gosu, PCF, typelists, and BC data model
- Experience in configuring billing plans, payment plans, charges, invoices, and delinquency processes
- Understanding of P&C insurance billing lifecycle
- Familiarity with Guidewire Studio and BC configuration framework
- Experience with SQL and RDBMS
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
Good to Have
- Guidewire BillingCenter certification
- Exposure to BillingCenter integrations (PC, CC, payment gateways)
- Experience working on Guidewire upgrades
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
