Role Description The Guitar Teacher will deliver engaging online guitar lessons to children aged 5 to 14 years, using TalentGum's interactive platform and curriculum. This part-time, remote role involves planning age-appropriate lesson content, teaching core techniques, and introducing basic to intermediate music concepts in a fun, encouraging manner. The Guitar Teacher will monitor learners progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching approaches to different skill levels and learning styles. Responsibilities include conducting live virtual classes, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, collaborating with the TalentGum team on course improvements, and communicating with caregivers about student progress when required.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Guitar Instruction and Music Education skills, with experience teaching children or beginners.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Music Theory and general Music fundamentals relevant to guitar performance.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Piano or another complementary instrument, supporting broader musical understanding.
- Experience delivering online lessons, including comfort with video conferencing tools and digital teaching resources.
- Clear, patient, and engaging communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide young learners in a gender-neutral, inclusive manner.
- Demonstrated ability to structure lessons, manage group classes, and tailor instruction to diverse learning needs and abilities.
- Formal training in music (e.g., certifications, diplomas, or a degree in Music or Music Education) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable internet connection, suitable equipment for online teaching, and willingness to work flexible hours based on student schedules.
