Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Digital Portal Developer with strong expertise in Jutro Development Platform (JDP) and React.js to develop and maintain backend services and integrations supporting Guidewire Digital Portal solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable APIs, integrating Guidewire core applications, and extending Guidewire Digital capabilities to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
API Development
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for Guidewire Digital Portal applications.
- Create and maintain API documentation and technical specifications.
- Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and performant.
Integration Development
- Develop integrations between Guidewire core applications and external systems.
- Work with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations.
- Implement data exchange and synchronization processes using Guidewire APIs and integration frameworks.
Edge Services & Digital Platform
- Work with Guidewire Edge/API architecture to extend and customize Digital Portal capabilities.
- Develop and support Guidewire Digital Portal solutions using Jutro Development Platform (JDP).
- Collaborate with UI teams to enable seamless frontend-backend interactions.
Performance & Security
- Optimize application performance and API response times.
- Follow secure coding practices and data protection standards.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
Collaboration
- Work closely with business analysts, architects, product owners, and development teams.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience with Jutro Development Platform (JDP).
- Strong experience in React.js and modern JavaScript development.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portal architecture.
- Experience working with Guidewire Edge/API services.
- Strong understanding of backend integration patterns and web services.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Integration experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs.
- Exposure to BillingCenter and ClaimCenter integrations.
- Experience with cloud-native development and microservices architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
