Job Description: Insurance QA Analyst / Test Engineer (P&C Claims) We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance QA Analyst / Test Engineer with strong expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance and Claims Management processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validating end-to-end insurance workflows, including Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, Endorsements, and Renewals. The role requires strong functional testing skills, business process understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Key Responsibilities
• Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to develop comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Design, execute, and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data for P&C Insurance applications.
• Validate end-to-end insurance business processes, including:
• Policy Issuance
• Underwriting
• Policy Endorsements
• Policy Renewals
• Claims Intake and Claims Processing
• Billing and Payments
• Perform Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support activities.
• Execute test cycles, document results, and ensure adequate business and functional coverage.
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects while collaborating with development teams for timely resolution.
• Validate integrations between insurance systems and third-party applications.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
• Provide testing metrics, status reports, and risk assessments to project stakeholders.

Qualification.

• Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in Functional Testing of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance applications.
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance business processes:
• Policy Administration
• Underwriting
• Claims Management
• Billing
• Endorsements
• Renewals
• Hands-on experience in:
• Functional Testing
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• Regression Testing
• UAT Support
• Strong experience in test case design, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
