Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Guidewire PolicyCenter, strong programming skills in Gosu, and hands-on experience in configuring and integrating PolicyCenter within P&C insurance ecosystems. This role requires close collaboration with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders to implement business requirements and deliver high-quality technical Responsibilities :

  • Configure and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu and Guidewire Studio.
  • Analyze, design, and implement changes to the PolicyCenter data model, product model, rating engine, and underwriting rules.
  • Develop and consume web services (SOAP/REST) for integration with third-party systems and internal applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve configuration and integration issues.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning as part of an Agile/Scrum development team.
  • Maintain source code using version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
  • Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and compliance Qualifications :
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development.
  • Proficient in Gosu programming language and development using Guidewire Studio.
  • In-depth understanding of PolicyCenter data model, product model, and rating engine.
  • Experience in implementing and customizing underwriting rules.
  • Strong knowledge of SOAP/RESTful web services and API integrations.
  • Solid understanding of the Property & Casualty insurance domain.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git or Bitbucket.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
