Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Configurator with strong expertise in configuration and development within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in product model configuration, PCF development, business rules, and integrations.
The role involves working closely with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-quality PolicyCenter solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and develop solutions in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Perform Product Model configuration (LOBs, Coverages, Conditions, Exclusions, Modifiers).
- Develop and enhance PCF screens and UI components.
- Implement business rules using Gosu (Validation, Underwriting, Assignment rules).
- Extend data model (entities, typelists, relationships).
- Develop workflows, activities, and batch processes.
- Implement and support integrations (SOAP/REST, messaging).
- Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and deployment activities.
- Support defect resolution and production issues.
- Work in Agile/Scrum delivery model.
Required Skills- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.
- Strong knowledge of P&C insurance domain.
- Expertise in:
- Product Model
- PCF configuration
- Gosu scripting
- Data model extensions
- Experience in integration (Web Services, Messaging).
- Good understanding of rating configuration.
- Experience with SQL for backend validation.
- Familiarity with version control tools (Git/SVN).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Guidewire Cloud.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of PolicyCenter upgrade process.
- Certification in Guidewire PolicyCenter (good to have).
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
