We at Coforge are hiring Guidewire Policy Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
- Work on Gosu scripting, business rules, workflows, and UI configurations.
- Design and implement integrations with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST).
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of Guidewire applications.
- Participate in Guidewire upgrades, enhancements, and production support activities.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Support testing teams during SIT/UAT phases.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter (minimum 3+ years in GW specifically).
- Proficiency in Gosu, Guidewire Studio, and data model extensions.
- Experience in integration (REST/SOAP, messaging, plugins).
- Knowledge of Guidewire configuration concepts (rules, product model, PCF).
- Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Java/J2EE concepts.
- Understanding of Insurance domain (P&C preferred).
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN).
Good to Have:
- Experience in Guidewire Cloud / Guidewire Digital.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Guidewire certification (PolicyCenter) is a mandatory.
