Job Title / Role: Guidewire Policy Developer

Location: Greater Noida, Hyderabad & Pune

Mode: Hybrid

We at Coforge are hiring Guidewire Policy Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, configure, and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter applications.
  • Work on Gosu scripting, business rules, workflows, and UI configurations.
  • Design and implement integrations with external systems using web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning of Guidewire applications.
  • Participate in Guidewire upgrades, enhancements, and production support activities.
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Support testing teams during SIT/UAT phases.

Required Skills:

  • Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter (minimum 3+ years in GW specifically).
  • Proficiency in Gosu, Guidewire Studio, and data model extensions.
  • Experience in integration (REST/SOAP, messaging, plugins).
  • Knowledge of Guidewire configuration concepts (rules, product model, PCF).
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Java/J2EE concepts.
  • Understanding of Insurance domain (P&C preferred).
  • Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN).

Good to Have:

  • Experience in Guidewire Cloud / Guidewire Digital.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Guidewire certification (PolicyCenter) is a mandatory.
