Job Description: Guidewire Policy Center Rating Developer
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC) Rating & Configuration Developer with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities. The candidate will act as a
Technical Manager , driving development, supporting team members in resolving technical challenges, and ensuring high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating and Configuration solutions
- Lead and mentor a team of developers; act as the technical escalation point for complex issues
- Provide hands-on support for coding, debugging, and optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
- Perform code reviews , design validations, and quality checks
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to solution design
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, BA, and DevOps
- Support integration touchpoints (if applicable) and ensure seamless system interactions
Mandatory Skills- Strong experience in:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC)
- Guidewire Rating module
- Guidewire Configuration (Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Rules)
- Proven experience in end-to-end Guidewire development and implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Experience in handling and guiding a technical team
Good To Have Skills- Knowledge of:
- Guidewire Integration (GW Integration)
- ClaimCenter (CC)
- BillingCenter (BC)
- Exposure to web services (REST/SOAP) and integration patterns
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Experience
- Typically 8–12+ years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Guidewire
- Prior experience in a Technical Lead / Tech Manager role preferred
