Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Guidewire PolicyCenter Rating Developer to design, develop, configure, and support rating solutions within the Guidewire PolicyCenter platform. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Guidewire Rating Engine configuration, product modeling, underwriting integration, and insurance domain knowledge, especially in P&C insurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and configure rating logic in Guidewire PolicyCenter.
- Design and implement rate books, worksheets, rate routines, and pricing algorithms.
- Configure product model components including coverage, modifiers, conditions, exclusions, and questions.
- Work closely with business analysts, actuaries, and underwriting teams to translate rating requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop integrations between PolicyCenter and external systems using SOAP/REST APIs.
- Customize PCF screens, Gosu classes, workflows, and batch processes.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and production support activities.
- Participate in Guidewire upgrade and migration projects.
- Ensure coding standards, performance optimization, and best practices are followed.
- Support deployment activities across DEV, QA, UAT, and PROD environments.
- Create technical design documents and support knowledge transfer sessions.

Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire Certified Professional preferred.
- Experience with Guidewire Cloud Platform is an added advantage.
- Exposure to ClaimCenter or BillingCenter is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Commercial Lines or Personal Auto products.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and rating optimization.
- Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
