Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Guidewire Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Guidewire applications and external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Guidewire integration technologies, web services, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns. The role involves working closely with business analysts, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable and high-performing integration solutions.

Mandatory Skills

  • Strong experience as a Guidewire Integration Developer.
  • Hands-on expertise in Guidewire integration frameworks and technologies:
    • Integration Plugins
    • Messaging Framework
    • Batch Processes
    • SOAP Web Services
    • REST APIs
  • Proficiency in Gosu programming.
  • Experience with XML, JSON, XSD, WSDL, and related integration standards.
  • Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware concepts.
  • Experience with application debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of Guidewire data model and configuration concepts.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with PolicyCenter Integration.
  • Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud API.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Cloud Platform implementations.
  • Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar middleware platforms.
  • Exposure to insurance domain processes, particularly Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations between Guidewire applications and external systems.
  • Build and enhance SOAP/REST-based services and APIs.
  • Develop and configure Guidewire messaging, plugins, and batch integrations.
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather integration requirements.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolution.
  • Ensure integration solutions adhere to security, performance, and scalability standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
  • Create and maintain technical design documents and integration specifications.
  • Support deployment activities and post-production stabilization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant Guidewire certifications are preferred.
  • Experience working on Guidewire implementation, upgrade, or migration projects.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an advantage.
