ITS A CONTRACT TO HIRE (C2H) ROLE
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Functional Expert with strong domain expertise in Guidewire Policy Administration implementations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in PolicyCenter, a solid understanding of ClaimCenter, and hands-on experience with Product Modeling and Advanced Product Designer (APD). The candidate will play a key role in business analysis, functional solutioning, requirement gathering, estimation, and stakeholder management for Guidewire transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business analysis activities for Guidewire PolicyCenter implementation and enhancement projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams to design optimal PolicyCenter solutions.
- Drive functional solutioning, effort estimation, and impact analysis for Guidewire initiatives.
- Configure and support Guidewire PolicyCenter product setup using Product Modeling and APD.
- Participate in workshops, requirement elicitation sessions, and gap analysis discussions.
- Review business processes and recommend best practices aligned with Guidewire capabilities.
- Support testing activities including UAT, defect triage, and business validation.
- Provide functional guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire implementation standards and insurance industry best practices.
Required Skills
Mandatory Skills
- 7 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Insurance Domain.
- Strong experience as a Guidewire PolicyCenter Business Analyst / Functional Consultant.
- Guidewire ACE Certification (Mandatory).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Product Modeling
- Advanced Product Designer (APD)
- Expertise in requirement gathering, functional design, and solutioning.
- Strong understanding of estimation methodologies and project delivery processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of P&C (Property & Casualty) Insurance business processes.
- Prior experience in large-scale Guidewire implementation programs.
