About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire PMT (Policy Modernization Team) or CMT (Claims Modernization Team) Consultant/Analyst who has strong functional and technical exposure to Guidewire products. The ideal candidate will support implementation, configuration, requirement gathering, and endtoend delivery for PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis & Design

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
  • Convert business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications.
  • Participate in Guidewire configuration workshops (PC/CC/BC).

Implementation & Configuration

  • Configure Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter modules as per client requirements.
  • Assist with form changes, product model updates, rating changes, and integration points.
  • Support modernization and migration activities under PMT/CMT initiatives.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare and execute test cases (SIT/UAT).
  • Support defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution.
  • Ensure all builds adhere to Guidewire best practices.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key liaison between business teams, development teams, and QA.
  • Provide project updates, discuss risks, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure smooth delivery.

Technical/Implementation Support

  • Support integration with downstream and upstream systems.
  • Work with developers on GOSU changes if required.
  • Handle production issues, troubleshooting, and enhancement fixes.

Required Skills

Functional Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
  • Good understanding of P&C insurance domain (Auto, Home, Commercial, etc.).
  • Experience in modernization programs (PMT / CMT experience preferred).

Technical Skills (Good To Have)

  • Basic understanding of GOSU scripting.
  • Knowledge of Guidewire Data Model, Integration, Product Model, and Rating Engine.
  • Experience with SOAP/REST integrations.

Professional Skills

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong problemsolving and analytical abilities.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • GW Certifications (PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter) are a strong plus.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience working with global clients.
  • Knowledge of migration tools and modernization frameworks.
