Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled
Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Developer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in
Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of core insurance systems. This role demands deep technical expertise in
integration frameworks,
web services, and
messaging systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integration components for Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC).
- Implement web services (SOAP and REST) for inbound and outbound integrations.
- Configure and manage PolicyCenter messaging infrastructure.
- Develop integration solutions with external systems (underwriting, billing, claims, document generation, etc.).
- Work closely with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality standards.
- Ensure integration solutions align with enterprise architecture and best practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter integration.
- Strong experience with Guidewire Gosu programming.
- In-depth knowledge of SOAP/RESTful services, XML/JSON, and WS-I standards.
- Experience with Guidewire Messaging architecture (inbound/outbound).
- Solid understanding of integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and batch processing.
- Familiarity with Java and related integration tools.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Guidewire Configuration is a plus.
- Knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter data model and business processes.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools, DevOps practices, and Git-based version control.
- Prior experience with integration to third-party systems such as ISO, document management, or payment systems.
- Insurance domain knowledge (especially P&C).
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
