Description
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PC Config Developer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and configuring Guidewire PolicyCenter applications, contributing to the overall success of our insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure Guidewire PolicyCenter applications to meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure quality deliverables.
- Maintain and enhance existing Guidewire applications to improve performance and usability.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions and configurations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration and development.
- Strong knowledge of Guidewire suite, especially PolicyCenter, including configuration, data model, and workflow.
- Proficiency in Java and Guidewire Scripting Language (Gosu).
- Experience with Guidewire integrations using APIs, XML, and Web Services.
- Understanding of insurance domain concepts and policies.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
