Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced
Guidewire Lead Developer (PolicyCenter) to lead design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Guidewire, leadership experience, and the ability to drive delivery across complex insurance projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter solutions
- Design and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Guidewire platform
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers
- Customize and configure PolicyCenter modules (Policy Lifecycle, Underwriting, Rating, etc.)
- Develop integrations using SOAP/REST web services, messaging, and batch processes
- Ensure code quality through reviews, best practices, and performance optimization
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, and estimations
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
- Ensure adherence to Guidewire best practices and coding standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter (minimum 5+ years)
- Hands-on expertise in Gosu programming
- Experience with Guidewire Studio, data model extensions, and UI configurations
- Knowledge of Guidewire integration frameworks (Messaging, Web Services, Plugins)
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain
- Experience with SQL, database design, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with Java/J2EE concepts
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP)
- Exposure to BillingCenter / ClaimCenter
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter preferred)

Education
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
