Job Description – Guidewire Digital (xEngage PE/CE, EDGE) Developer
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Guidewire Digital Developer with strong expertise in
xEngage (Policy Engagement / Customer Engagement) and EDGE framework. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing digital insurance solutions that enhance customer experience across Policy, Billing, and Claims journeys within the Guidewire Digital ecosystem.
The role involves building responsive, scalable, and API-driven digital portals integrated with Guidewire InsuranceSuite and external systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain digital applications using Guidewire xEngage (PE/CE) and EDGE framework.
- Build and enhance customer-facing portals for policy servicing, billing, and claims journeys.
- Develop reusable UI components and digital services using Guidewire Digital standards.
- Integrate digital applications with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
- Develop and consume REST APIs for seamless data exchange between front-end and backend systems.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, architects, and backend teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security of digital applications.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in digital applications.
Required Skills- Strong experience in Guidewire Digital (xEngage – PE/CE).
- Hands-on expertise in EDGE framework development.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Java / Gosu (preferred)
- REST APIs
- JSON / XML
- Microservices architecture
- Experience integrating digital portals with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PC/BC/CC).
- Strong UI development understanding (Angular / React / JavaScript preferred).
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
