Guidewire Claims Developer

We at Coforge are hiring an experience Guidewire Claims Developer with strong experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter development and implementation. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in configuring, customizing, and integrating ClaimCenter solutions while demonstrating a solid understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance claims processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and support Guidewire ClaimCenter applications.
- Customize ClaimCenter components including:
- PCF Screens
- Gosu Classes
- Business Rules
- Workflows
- Validation Rules
- Develop and maintain integrations between ClaimCenter and external applications.
- Create and consume Web Services (SOAP/REST APIs).
- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, development, testing, and production support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and performance issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, testers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
- Support Guidewire upgrades, enhancements, and cloud migration initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on Guidewire ClaimCenter development experience.

- ClaimCenter Configuration
- Gosu Programming
- PCF Development
- Business Rules
- Workflows
- Data Model Extensions
- Batch Processes
- Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Exposure to REST/SOAP Web Services.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Good understanding of SDLC and software engineering best practices.
Insurance Domain Experience
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance.
- Knowledge of claims lifecycle:
- FNOL (First Notice of Loss)
- Claim Creation
- Assignment
- Investigation
- Reserve Management
- Payments
- Recovery/Subrogation
- Claim Closure
Preferred Skills
- Guidewire Cloud Platform experience.
- ClaimCenter Upgrade/Migration experience.
- Java/J2EE development background.
- Experience with Messaging and Integration tools.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
- Guidewire Certified Developer certification.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
