Job Title: Guidewire Integration Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Integration Developer to design, develop, and support integrations between Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter) and external/internal systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Guidewire integration frameworks, web services, middleware technologies, and solid P&C insurance domain knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Development & Design

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework
• Build and consume SOAP and REST web services
• Implement inbound and outbound integrations via:
• Messaging (JMS, MQ)
• Web services
• Batch processing
  
  

Technical Development

• Develop integration components using Gosu, Java, XML, JSON
• Configure and customize:
• Messaging destinations
• Plugins
• Web service APIs
  
  

End-to-End Delivery

• Participate in full integration lifecycle:
• Requirement analysis
• Solution design
• Development
• Unit testing
• SIT/UAT support
  
  

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business analysts, architects, and vendors
• Act as a liaison between clients and global delivery teams
  
  

Support & Optimization

• Troubleshoot and resolve production and performance issues
• Ensure integrations meet security, scalability, and performance standards
• Maintain technical and functional documentation
  
  

Functional & Agile Responsibilities

• Create functional artifacts:
• User stories
• Process flows
• Use cases
• Data mappings
• Participate in Agile (Scrum/SAFe) ceremonies
• Use tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Rally
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

• Lead or support requirement workshops and business discussions
• Support integration with legacy systems
• Demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership capabilities
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter)
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Integration Framework
• Proficiency in:
• Gosu
• Java
• XML / JSON
• Strong understanding of:
• SOAP & REST services
• WSDL, XSD
• Experience with middleware/ESB tools (MuleSoft, IBM IIB, WebMethods preferred)
• Knowledge of:
• JMS / messaging queues
• Batch processing
• Familiarity with databases (Oracle / SQL Server)
• Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
  
  

Insurance Domain Expertise (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
• Policy
• Billing
• Claims
• Experience integrating with:
• Rating engines
• Payment gateways
• Document management systems
• Third-party data providers
