We are looking for a skilled
Guidewire BillingCenter Integration Developer to design, develop, and maintain integration solutions between
BillingCenter and internal/external systems. The role requires strong expertise in
Guidewire integrations, APIs, and messaging frameworks, along with experience in insurance billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Development
- Design and develop integrations with Guidewire BillingCenter using:
- REST/SOAP web services
- Messaging framework (asynchronous integrations)
- Batch interfaces
- Build and maintain APIs for billing, payments, invoicing, and account management.
- Configure and develop:
- Plugins
- Integration services
- Messaging destinations
Guidewire Development
- Customize and configure BillingCenter using:
- GOSU programming
- PCF configurations
- Data model extensions
- Implement billing workflows, payment handling, invoicing logic, and external system connectivity.
Integration Patterns
- Implement:
- Real-time integrations (API-based)
- Event-driven integrations
- Batch data processing
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and error handling in integrations.
Testing & Quality
- Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot and resolve defects related to integrations and data flows.
- Ensure compliance with Guidewire coding standards and best practices.
Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Business analysts
- QA teams
- Solution architects
- Translate business requirements into technical integration solutions.
Required Skills
Guidewire Expertise
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Guidewire BillingCenter (v8/v10 or higher)
- GOSU programming
- Guidewire integration framework
- Knowledge of:
- BillingCenter data model
- Accounts, policies, billing cycles, payments
Integration Skills
- Experience with:
- REST & SOAP APIs
- JSON, XML, XSD
- Messaging (JMS/Kafka preferred)
- Familiarity with:
- Integration Gateway
- Web services
- Batch processing
Technical Skills
- Experience in:
- Java / Spring Boot (preferred)
- SQL and database concepts
- Exposure to middleware tools:
- MuleSoft / Dell Boomi / Apache Camel / Kafka
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire certification (BillingCenter or Integration)
- Experience in P&C insurance domain (Billing/Finance)
- Exposure to:
- Cloud platforms (Guidewire Cloud, AWS, Azure)
- API Gateway implementations
- DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps)
