Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Guidewire Architect with deep expertise in
Guidewire PolicyCenter (PC), BillingCenter (BC), and ClaimCenter (CC) to lead enterprise-scale P&C insurance transformation programs. The ideal candidate should have strong architecture, design, integration, and Guidewire Cloud implementation experience while providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Define end-to-end architecture for Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter implementations.
- Lead solution design, technical architecture, and application modernization initiatives.
- Design scalable integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and Guidewire Integration Framework.
- Drive Guidewire Cloud migration and transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Establish architecture standards, development best practices, and governance.
- Review solution designs, code quality, and technical deliverables.
- Mentor technical leads and development teams.
- Support estimation, solution proposals, and client discussions.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, security, and maintainability of Guidewire applications.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Guidewire.
- Hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.
- Strong experience in Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP).
- Proficiency in Gosu, Java, PCF, Guidewire Data Model, Product Model, and Configuration.
- Experience with REST/SOAP Web Services, Integration Gateway, Kafka/Messaging, and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Excellent architecture, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Guidewire ACE Certification (preferred).
- Experience in Guidewire Cloud upgrades and migration projects.
- Knowledge of APD, Jutro, DataHub, InfoCenter, or Digital Portals is an added advantage.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
