The Guest Service Associate F&B Service is responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service. This role ensures a clean and welcoming environment and supports daily operations in restaurants, banquets, or in-room dining.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen/bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while following service standards.
- Set up and clear tables efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining area, equipment, and service stations.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to requests and resolving any service issues promptly.
- Assist in setting up buffets, banquets, and room service as needed.
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols as per company and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with kitchen and other departments to ensure smooth service.
- Upsell food and beverage items wherever appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
- Good communication skills in English (other regional languages are a plus).
- Basic knowledge of F&B service techniques and customer service.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Pleasant personality and positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
