Job Description

Summary

The Guest Relations Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional and personalized guest experiences, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty. This role leads guest engagement initiatives, manages VIP services, and addresses guest feedback and concerns in alignment with Hyatt's brand standards and service culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all guest relations functions to ensure seamless and personalized guest experiences
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, recognizing preferences and enhancing loyalty
  • Manage VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest recognition programs
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and service recovery in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores, reviews, and feedback channels
  • Collaborate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, and other departments to ensure service excellence
  • Ensure adherence to Hyatt brand standards, grooming guidelines, and service protocols
  • Lead, train, and mentor the guest relations team on service delivery and guest engagement
  • Support Front Office operations during peak periods and ensure smooth coordination
  • Prepare reports on guest feedback, service trends, and improvement initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in Front Office or Guest Relations, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-focused mindset
  • Proven ability to handle guest concerns and service recovery effectively
  • Knowledge of Opera/Front Office systems and guest engagement tools preferred
  • Strong leadership, training, and team management skills
  • High level of professionalism, grooming, and presentation in line with luxury hospitality standards
