We are seeking a dynamic and polished Guest Relations Manager to lead the front-facing guest experience for an upcoming high-end Italian restaurant in Mumbai. The ideal candidate brings warmth, sophistication, and a deep understanding of luxury hospitality — ensuring every guest enjoys a truly memorable dining experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome all guests in a warm, professional manner aligned with the restaurant's luxury positioning.
  • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlist operations with precision and grace.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for VIP guests, handling all special requests and personalised preferences.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure flawless service execution.
  • Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally, turning challenges into moments of delight.
  • Oversee front-of-house operations during service, maintaining ambience, pacing, and overall guest flow.
  • Develop and maintain a guest database capturing preferences, dietary needs, and visit history.
  • Train and coach the reception and host/hostess team on etiquette, communication, and service standards.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on guest engagement initiatives, events, and loyalty programmes.
  • Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, developing action plans for continuous improvement

RequirementsQualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Proven track record in guest-facing leadership roles.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or additional languages is a plus.
