Role Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a professional upskilling school that offers certifications in technical and management skills. The organisation helps students and working professionals become job-ready, while also supporting companies in upskilling their existing employees instead of spending more time and money on firing, rehiring and training new people.

Our client is looking for a Guest Lecturer in Agentic AI to deliver practical, high-quality sessions for learners who want to understand how autonomous and semi-autonomous AI systems can be applied in real business and technical workflows.

This is a part-time, guest faculty opportunity suited for someone with strong academic credibility, applied AI knowledge, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to professional learners.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be associated with a premium Indian university, either as:

• A current faculty member, lecturer, researcher, doctoral scholar or teaching professional; or
• An alumnus/alumna with strong applied AI, machine learning, data science, computer science or related experience.

Relevant institutions may include IITs, IISc, IIITs, IIMs, ISB or other similarly reputed Indian institutions.

Teaching Focus Areas

The guest lecturer may be expected to teach topics such as:

• Introduction to agentic AI and autonomous AI systems
• AI agents, multi-agent workflows and tool-using AI systems
• Prompting, planning, reasoning, and memory
• Practical use cases of agentic AI in business, analytics, operations, etc.
• Limitations, failure modes, governance and responsible deployment
• Demonstrations using current AI tools, frameworks or workflow examples
• How professionals can evaluate, supervise and deploy AI-assisted workflows

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver live online guest lectures on agentic AI
• Convert technical concepts into clear, practical learning material
• Use examples, case studies and demonstrations where relevant
• Support professional learners in understanding both the potential and limitations of AI agents
• Coordinate with the academic/program team on session objectives and learner outcomes
• Optionally contribute to short teaching assets, assignments or practical exercises

Required Qualifications

• Strong academic background from a premium Indian university
• Demonstrated understanding of AI, LLMs, automation or agentic AI systems
• Ability to teach mixed audiences, including students, early-career professionals, managers and working professionals
• Strong communication skills in English
• Comfort with live teaching, workshops and professional training environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Current teaching or research affiliation with a reputed Indian institution
• Prior guest lecturing, corporate training, teaching assistantship, or workshop experience
• Hands-on experience with LLM tools, AI agents, workflow automation, or similar technologies
• Experience translating AI concepts into business, product, operations, or management applications

Compensation

Compensation will correspond with whether the candidate is an alumnus/alumna of a premium university or is currently teaching, researching, or professionally affiliated with such an institution.
