Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Guest Lecturer (Data Science) role based in Kothnur. The Guest Lecturer will design and deliver engaging lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on core data science topics such as statistics, Python programming, data analysis, and introductory machine learning. Responsibilities include preparing curriculum-aligned content, creating assignments and projects, and evaluating learner performance with clear, constructive feedback. The role also involves mentoring students, clarifying concepts in simple terms, and adapting teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and language backgrounds. The Guest Lecturer will collaborate with the academic team to refine course materials, ensure industry relevance, and support continuous improvement of the data science program.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in data science concepts, including statistics, data analysis, and introductory machine learning, with the ability to explain them clearly to beginners.
• Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies such as Python (and common data libraries), spreadsheets, and basic data visualization platforms.
• Prior teaching, training, mentoring, or corporate coaching experience in data science, analytics, or related fields is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to teach diverse learners and simplify complex topics in an engaging way.
• Ability to design practical assignments, projects, and assessments that reflect real-world data problems and industry expectations.
• Comfort working in a multilingual, learner-centric environment and sensitivity to varied educational and cultural backgrounds.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Strong commitment to learner success, punctuality, and professionalism in an on-site classroom setting in Kothnur.
