Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled GStreamer Developer with deep expertise in the multimedia domain to design, develop, and optimize high-performance streaming solutions. In this role, you will build robust custom plugins, work closely with C/C++ codebases, and resolve complex performance bottlenecks on embedded and Linux platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable multimedia solutions using the GStreamer framework.
- Build, customize, and maintain custom applications and GStreamer plugins within complex Audio/Video pipelines.
- Develop robust solutions targeting Linux and embedded platforms.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code performance using tools like gdb, kgdb, and profilers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless media pipeline integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of professional software development experience.
- Core Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of dedicated development experience in the Multimedia domain.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid, hands-on programming experience in C and C++.
- Framework Mastery: Proven experience in designing GStreamer-based frameworks, with hands-on development of at least 1–2 custom plugins within an Audio/Video pipeline.
- Platform & Debugging: Strong hands-on background in Linux/embedded development and advanced troubleshooting skills using debugging tools (gdb, kgdb, profilers).
