Role Description

This full-time, on-site GST Litigation Associate role is based in Rajkot. The role requires strong drafting skills and practical exposure in handling litigation work, including preparation of defence replies, appeals, and related legal documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting defence replies to notices and departmental proceedings under GST law
• Preparation, drafting, and filing of appeals before the First Appellate Authority
• Preparation, drafting, and filing of appeals, pleadings, and related documents at the Tribunal stage
• Legal research on GST, Service Tax, Central Excise, and related case laws
• Preparation of case briefs, written submissions, paper books, and supporting documentation
• Coordination with clients for facts, records, and litigation strategy
• Assistance in hearing preparation and follow-up of ongoing litigation matters

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in GST litigation and drafting work
• Strong command over drafting replies, appeals, and written submissions
• Good understanding of the CGST Act, Rules, notifications, circulars, and judicial precedents
• Experience in appellate drafting at the first appeal stage is essential
• Experience in tribunal-stage litigation work will be preferred
• Exposure to erstwhile Service Tax and Central Excise matters will be an advantage
• Experience in income tax litigation matters will also be an added advantage
• Good legal research, communication, and file-handling skills

Compensation:

Salary will be discussed after the first interview and finalized based on relevant experience and overall suitability for the role.
