Description

The GSE Workshop Assistant at Qatar Airways will support the maintenance and repair of Ground Support Equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced technicians and be involved in various workshop activities, contributing to the overall operational success of the airline.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure operational efficiency.
• Support the workshop team in carrying out scheduled inspections and servicing of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs performed on GSE.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all workshop activities.
• Assist in inventory management, including the procurement of tools and spare parts as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Basic knowledge of Ground Support Equipment operations and maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in an engineering workshop environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
