We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient GSA-Housekeeping (F/M/X) to join our team in Mercure Hyderabad KCP, India. As a Guest Service Associate specializing in housekeeping, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for our guests.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, and other assigned spaces according to established standards and procedures
- Properly use cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals while adhering to safety guidelines
- Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns related to housekeeping matters
- Restock guest room amenities, linens, and supplies as needed
- Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness, functionality, and maintenance issues
- Report any damages, deficiencies, or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Maintain organized storage areas and manage inventory of cleaning supplies
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in the hospitality industry (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and safety protocols
- Proficiency in using various cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Basic communication skills in English and local languages
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive and professional attitude
- Relevant hospitality certifications (optional)
- Ability to work in Hyderabad, India
