Yal is at the intersection of AI, communication, and human connection. We aren't looking for a traditional consumer marketer who relies on massive brand-awareness budgets. We need a high-velocity B2C Growth & Strategy Officer whose single-minded focus is rapid user acquisition, viral mechanics, and immediate post-launch traction. You understand how to navigate the technical complexities of an AI product while placing it directly into the hands of the individual consumer with quiet luxury precision. You will be the architect of our consumer launch, turning technical excellence into an immediate, explosive cultural movement.
The Mandate
- Aggressive Consumer Acquisition: Design, execute, and own the Day-1 B2C Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy. Your primary KPI is simple: getting active daily users onto the platform the moment we launch and establishing immediate product adoption.
- Product-Led Growth (PLG) Loops: Collaborate directly with engineering teams to build viral distribution mechanisms and growth loops directly into the product (referral mechanics, onboarding hooks, and built-in sharing features) to turn early adopters into a self-sustaining acquisition engine.
- High-Impact Cultural Placement: Determine exactly how Yal is injected into the B2C digital ecosystem. You will identify and secure high-impact partnerships, top-tier creator collaborations, and specific digital contexts that align with a premium, high-utility consumer brand.
- Unconventional Acquisition & Hype: Forget generic ad spend. We want guerilla marketing, strategic stunt campaigns, waitlist FOMO mechanics, and community-driven growth that bypasses the noise of a crowded tech market to acquire users at scale.
- Funnel Optimization & Analytics: Build the analytical infrastructure to track consumer behavior. You will ruthlessly optimize the onboarding funnel, monitoring consumer CAC, conversion velocity, and early retention metrics.
Who You Are
- The Ultimate Closer for Consumer Users: You are obsessed with consumer growth. You know exactly where our target audience hangs out online, how they think, and what exact hooks will make them download and use a new platform immediately.
- B2C Scale Operator: You have a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling a consumer-facing tech product from zero to hundreds of thousands of active users. You know how to manufacture scarcity and sustain user momentum.
- Tech Native: You have a deep understanding of the AI space. You understand the engineering behind the product, allowing you to translate complex AI capabilities into an undeniable, must-have personal benefit.
Technical & Professional Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of hands-on experience in Consumer Growth, B2C User Acquisition, or B2C Startup GTM, with a documented history of driving massive user numbers post-launch.
- Launch Track Record: Proven experience managing a successful B2C product launch or major consumer feature rollout that resulted in an immediate, measurable spike in user signups.
- Analytical Stack: Deep comfort with product analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar), attribution modeling, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Network: An active, immediate network within the creator economy, digital media placement partners, and consumer tech ecosystems to leverage on Day 1.
