Job Title: Growth Specialist

About the Role
At Smarter.Codes, we are looking for a detail-oriented and user-focused Growth Associate who brings a strong manual QA mindset and a deep understanding of e-commerce user behavior. This role sits at the intersection of growth, UX, quality assurance, and operations, and is ideal for someone who enjoys testing products from a real buyer's perspective rather than a purely technical lens.
Key Responsibilities
- Test product flows, search functionality, and user journeys from an end-user / buyer perspective, identifying gaps, edge cases, and failure modes.
- Perform manual QA and UX reviews across web and digital platforms to ensure smooth and intuitive user experiences.
- Validate features, content, and workflows with a strong focus on usability, accuracy, and consistency.
- Analyze e-commerce shopping behavior to identify friction points and improvement opportunities that support growth.
- Document findings clearly using Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on improvements.
- Support and conduct search audits, research tasks, and operational checks as needed.
- Assist with basic visual reviews or low-fidelity mockups using Figma or Canva (no advanced design skills required).
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong manual QA mindset, with the ability to think through edge cases, validations, and failure scenarios.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce shopping behavior and buyer intent.
- Ability to test and evaluate features as a real customer, not as a developer.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued:
- QA, UX review, research, operations, audits, or growth support roles.
