Role Overview
We are looking for a growth-oriented SEO and content professional who understands how organic traffic translates into pipeline, demos, and revenue.
This is not a traditional SEO role focused only on rankings. We want someone who can connect keyword research, content strategy, technical SEO, user intent, and conversion optimization into a cohesive growth engine.
You should be comfortable working across the entire organic growth funnel, from identifying opportunities to creating content strategies, improving website performance, analyzing results, and uncovering new growth channels.
What You'll Do
- Drive organic growth through a combination of SEO, content, and conversion optimization initiatives.
- Identify high-intent keyword opportunities that generate qualified leads and demo bookings.
- Create and optimize landing pages, comparison pages, use case pages, solution pages, and educational content.
- Improve rankings, click-through rates, engagement metrics, and conversion rates across existing content.
- Work closely with content, product, design, and development teams to execute growth initiatives.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Analyze search behavior, customer journeys, and content performance to uncover growth opportunities.
- Build scalable content frameworks, topic clusters, and organic acquisition strategies.
- Support customer marketplaces with SEO recommendations, audits, and growth insights.
- Convert successful experiments and customer outcomes into case studies, playbooks, and repeatable growth processes.
- Track and report on key metrics including traffic, demos, pipeline contribution, and customer acquisition.
What We're Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in SEO, content marketing, growth marketing, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page SEO, content strategy, and analytics.
- Ability to connect organic traffic efforts to measurable business outcomes such as leads, demos, signups, or revenue.
- Experience working across multiple areas of SEO rather than a single specialization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a growth mindset.
- Comfortable using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Curiosity to experiment, learn, and identify new growth opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working in SaaS, marketplaces, eCommerce technology, or B2B software companies.
- Exposure to content-led growth and product-led growth strategies.
- Experience with programmatic SEO, AI-assisted content workflows, or large-scale content operations.
- Understanding of Shopify, marketplace ecosystems, or commerce platforms.
- Experience working directly with customers and providing growth recommendations.
Success in This Role
Within the first 6–12 months, you will:
- Increase qualified organic traffic.
- Improve demo bookings and pipeline contribution from organic channels.
- Build scalable SEO and content growth frameworks.
- Help both Shipturtle and its customers achieve measurable organic growth outcomes.
