Position - Intern - Growth and Outreach

Type: Full-time, Work from Office

Location - Navi Mumbai - Turbhe

Who are we

Based out of IIT Bombay, HaystackAnalytics is a HealthTech company creating clinical genomics products,

which enable diagnostic labs and hospitals to offer accurate and personalized diagnostics. Supported by

India's most respected science agencies (DST, BIRAC, DBT), we created and launched a portfolio of

products to offer genomics in infectious diseases. Our genomics-based diagnostic solution for Tuberculosis

was recognized as one of the top innovations supported by BIRAC in the past 10 years, and was launched

by the Prime Minister of India in the BIRAC Showcase event in Delhi, 2022.

Role Objective

We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing individual passionate about sales, communication, and

community engagement within the life sciences domain. The ideal candidate enjoys networking, thrives in

fast-paced environments, and is eager to drive conversions from leads to clients while organising creative

engagement activities across campuses and research institutes. The selected candidate will actively drive

sales from qualified leads, engage college-level life science communities, and promote genomics and

bioinformatics services through events and interactive initiatives.

What we want you to do

  • Identify, reach out, and engage potential B2B partners and institutional leads across assigned

regions.

  • Convert inbound and generated leads through persuasive communication, follow-ups, and

relationship-building.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to conceptualise and execute webinars, talk series, poster

presentations, and community-led events.

  • Define and structure innovative engagement programs to increase visibility, participation, and

lead conversion.

  • Represent the company confidently at offline college events, symposiums, and conferences to

promote offerings and brand visibility.

  • Conduct secondary research to identify new markets and partnership opportunities within the

genomics and life science ecosystem.

  • Coordinate with marketing, logistics, and lab operations for smooth execution of client projects.
  • Support go-to-market (GTM) initiatives for new service offerings and market entries.
  • Engage with student clubs, faculty coordinators, and departmental committees to drive

sponsorships and collaborations.

What are we looking for in you

  • Current undergraduate or recent graduate (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Genetics or

related fields preferred).

  • Extroverted, energetic communicator with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Aggressive and proactive in follow-ups with a passion for achieving targets.
  • Active involvement in college-level event organisation, student clubs, or community

activities.

  • Basic interest in genomics and willingness to learn technical concepts.
  • Prior experience in driving sponsorships, partnerships, or student-led initiatives is a plus.
  • Prior exposure as an organising team of the student body, college event, and tech fest will

be a huge advantage.

  • Creative thinker who can ideate and structure high-engagement initiatives.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and digital communication tools.
