Role Overview:
We are looking for a data-driven and growth-focused Retention & Growth Marketing Manager to drive customer retention, repeat revenue, and lifecycle growth for our D2C wellness brand. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in CRM, lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, and marketing automation, with strong experience in Klaviyo and eCommerce growth.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who can combine strategy with execution and help improve customer engagement, retention, and conversion performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Retention & Lifecycle Marketing
- Own customer retention metrics including repeat purchase rate, LTV, ARPU, and first-to-second order conversion.
- Build and optimize lifecycle journeys including welcome, onboarding, engagement, and win-back campaigns.
- Improve customer retention and reduce churn through personalized CRM strategies.
CRM Automation
- Manage lifecycle communication across Email, WhatsApp, SMS, and Push Notifications.
- Build and optimize automated flows, segmentation, campaigns, and A/B tests in Klaviyo.
- Create personalized customer experiences using behavioral triggers and segmentation.
Growth & Funnel Optimization
- Collaborate with Growth and Performance Marketing teams to improve conversion rates and customer journeys.
- Identify funnel drop-offs and optimize PDP, cart, and checkout experiences.
- Run experiments on messaging, offers, frequency, and channel mix to improve campaign performance.
Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze campaign, cohort, and funnel performance data to identify growth opportunities.
- Track CRM revenue contribution, retention performance, and ROI.
- Work closely with Product, Analytics, and Leadership teams to support business growth.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in Retention Marketing, CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Growth Marketing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Klaviyo is mandatory.
- Experience working with D2C or eCommerce brands.
- Strong understanding of customer retention metrics such as LTV, ARPU, cohort analysis, and repeat purchase behavior.
- Experience with Shopify and marketing analytics tools like GA4, MS Clarity, etc.
- Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving and experimentation skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership.
Preferred Background
- Experience in Wellness, Nutrition, Beauty, Healthcare, or Consumer Brands.
- Exposure to CRM tools such as MoEngage, WebEngage, Braze, or similar platforms.
