Job Description
Growth Marketing Lead (Performance Marketing)
Remote (India) · US market · Full-time · Reports to the CEO, US · First dedicated US growth lead
About Prosoma
At Prosoma, we're reinventing cancer care. We build Living Well, digital psychological support for people affected by cancer. It helps patients and survivors cope with anxiety, depression and the emotional weight of their diagnosis.
Living Well is reimbursed by 30+ insurers in Germany and Switzerland and has supported 22,000+ patients. The app has been studied in a published randomized pilot trial. In the US, clinicians at MemorialCare Todd Cancer Institute have introduced it to their patients, and eligible patients can be reimbursed through CPT codes. We reach people directly and through healthcare partners. We are a team of 25 and work across Europe and the US.
We're looking for a hands-on growth lead to help more people find, enroll in and use Living Well at a sustainable acquisition cost, and to shape the growth team that follows.
Why This Role Exists
A patient can leave an oncology visit with a treatment plan and still wonder where to turn for help coping at home. Some hear about Living Well from a trusted nurse or social worker. Others search for support without that introduction. Some are covered by insurance; others pay out of pocket.
Every one of these journeys needs a message that earns trust and a simple path into care. You will learn where people hesitate or drop off and build a repeatable engine from first contact through enrollment, activation and continued use.
AI is central to how we run growth. We expect you to use it every day to move faster, test more and make better decisions.
What You'll Do
- Scale acquisition across channels. Personally run paid search and social, and expand into YouTube, TikTok, Microsoft Ads and native or programmatic channels so growth doesn't depend on one platform. Own budgets, account structure, bidding, campaigns, landing pages and creative tests. Grow qualified demand against agreed cost-per-enrolled-patient targets, for both reimbursed and out-of-pocket patients.
- Know the customer. Speak with patients and caregivers and work closely with navigators. Combine their questions and language with search intent, partner context and funnel data. Understand what prompts interest, what earns trust and what holds people back before writing a headline.
- Turn insight into playbooks. Segment patients and caregivers by what they need and how they seek help, and clinical referrers by role and workflow. Build direct and partner-specific campaign playbooks covering trigger moments, objections, proof points, messaging, channels, referral handoffs and follow-up.
- Build an AI-powered creative engine. Establish a steady rhythm of briefing and testing patient-centered ads, hooks, copy and landing pages. Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Midjourney, Runway and similar) to generate and iterate variants at scale. Move quickly, scale what works, manage creative fatigue, and keep health claims clear and responsible.
- Automate and use AI in analysis. Use platform AI features such as Meta Advantage+, Google Performance Max and automated bidding while keeping control of targeting, budgets and quality. Build AI-assisted workflows for campaign analysis, anomaly detection, reporting and lead-quality monitoring.
- Improve the whole funnel. Diagnose drop-offs from click or referral through enrollment, first use and month two. Work with the enrollment team on lead quality, speed-to-lead, contact rates and consultation-to-enrollment conversion. Run conversion, onboarding and re-engagement experiments with UX/UI, product and care colleagues, using cohort data to understand engagement and retention.
- Make partner programs perform. For live B2B and B2B2C programs, develop patient-facing campaigns and referral journeys with partnerships and care teams. Make referrals easier for clinicians and enrollment easier for patients. Test prompts, materials, handoffs and follow-up, and measure referral-to-enrollment and activation by partner and program.
- Make performance visible. Build reliable tracking, including server-side tagging, conversion APIs, offline conversion uploads from CRM and enrollment data, and UTM governance. Build a CEO-facing growth dashboard showing spend, qualified demand, referrals, stage conversion, acquisition cost by route, activation and retention cohorts. Use it to set priorities, identify measurement gaps and flag problems before you're asked.
What You Bring
- At least 10 years of hands-on performance or growth marketing. This includes personal ownership of paid budgets across at least 3–4 channels and evidence of scaling acquisition within cost targets.
- Experience with downstream conversions. You've optimised for sales, enrollments or activations, not just leads, using offline conversion imports and CRM data.
- Strong customer research and creative judgment. You can turn patient insight and funnel analysis into campaigns and conversion improvements, and you know what makes an ad convert.
- Measurement fluency. You're fluent in campaign measurement and dashboard building (GA4, Looker Studio or similar, advanced spreadsheets) and in unit economics such as CAC, payback and LTV:CAC.
- Experience in sensitive categories. You've worked within sensitive-category ad targeting, data-use and claims rules on Meta and Google. You know how to measure results without exposing patient information.
- Proven proficiency with AI in growth marketing. You use generative AI for creative development and testing, AI-assisted analysis and reporting, and platform automation, and you can show concrete examples. You ship tests quickly, stop weak ones and build on results.
- Pace and collaboration skills to work across marketing, partnerships, product and care.
- Fluent English. You'll be based in India with reliable overlap with US Eastern morning hours (IST evenings) and flexibility for occasional calls with European colleagues.
Nice to Have
- Digital health, telehealth, behavioral health or oncology experience.
- Understanding of US health privacy constraints on tracking (HIPAA, FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, TCPA for SMS and calls) and experience with compliant setups such as server-side GTM, CAPI or similar.
- Experience with reimbursed US healthcare funnels (insurance eligibility, Medicare or commercial coverage).
- Experience with lead-gen funnels handed off to a telesales or care navigation team.
- Experience building custom AI workflows or agents, or using no-code automation tools (Zapier, Make, n8n) for marketing operations.
Why Join Us
- Life-changing innovation. Every campaign you run helps a cancer patient get support during one of the hardest moments of their life.
- VC-backed and scaling. You'll join a funded startup at a defining growth stage, with real ownership and a direct line to leadership.
- International team. You'll work with psychologists, scientists, engineers and growth people across the US, Europe and India.
- Room to grow. As the first dedicated US growth lead, you'll help shape the growth team that follows.
