Marketing Team's Vision for 2026-27

The Growth and Strategy team serves as the strategic arm of Virohan's marketing department. Our role is to tackle unknown problems and enable growth while taking full ownership of business outcomes. Our vision is to build a new product line using our core healthcare expertise, with a goal to unlock a 100CR business in this domain.

What you'll be responsible for:

Solving Business Challenges:

○ 1. Market & Customer Insights: You'll get on the ground to talk to partners and customers. Your job is to understand how the market behaves and turn those insights into a clear strategy for the product and pricing.

○ 2. Sales Operations & Efficiency: You will be the bridge to the inside sales team. Instead of just looking at the surface, you'll dive into the process to fix bottlenecks, streamline student onboarding, and make the entire funnel more efficient.

3. Strategic Acquisition: You won't just rely on existing channels. You'll identify and build new, predictable ways to grow the business, always working backwards from the goal to ensure the unit can scale.

4. Owning Business Outcomes: You own the end results. This means taking full responsibility for the data, managing the conversion rates and acquisition costs (CAC), and ensuring the Business Unit hits its growth targets.

● Solving Deployment Challenges:

○ Proposition (The Story & Pitch): You will own the sales pitch and messaging. By working closely with the team, you'll ensure they are telling the right story to the right students. You will refine how we talk about our programs and universities to make sure our offer is impossible to ignore.

○ Place (The Funnel & Channels): You will act as the bridge between lead sources and the sales floor. You'll manage the lead mix to ensure the team has the right volume and quality of leads to stay productive. You will oversee the entire journey—from the first digital or offline touchpoint to final enrollment.

○ Promotion (The Budget & Data): You will own the data analytics and budget strategy. You'll track every stage of the conversion funnel to see what's working and what isn't. As the liaison with Marketing, you will use these insights to deploy budgets toward the most effective channels, ensuring our spend directly drives the 100CR vision.

You are the right fit for the role, if:

● You have 3 - 4 years of work experience in demand-facing growth management roles (preferably in the offline domain)

● You seek problem solving opportunities with a rational approach, with an ability to seek & identify key irrationalities that drive decision-making when it comes to the end consumer.

● You are a design thinker - who understands what truly moves and influences consumers - ideally, a good mix of left and right brained thinking.

● Marketing Budget is not in input to your decision-making - you are happy to work within constraints and grow with the brand.

● You are obsessed with detail & often spot opportunities by paying attention to detail.

● You have a strong ability to communicate and work across functions.

● You like to get your hands dirty - you like talking to consumers, placing yourself in their shoes and routinely stepping out for on-ground research.
